I had been eyeing BabyLegs for a while, but I really hesitated to buy any.  At $12 (or more) plus shipping, per pair, I was afraid I wouldn't like them, they wouldn't fit etc.  Plus, I was having a hard time finding a pair that would match a lot of our diapers.

Several WAHMs make their own version of babylegs out of knee socks.  When I saw the pair of "leggies" that Five in a Row had, I jumped on them.  $5 including shipping?  Yes please!!

If you know me by now, you know I love a personal note!

One end has the original, um, cuff I guess?  Hem?  I don't know, what do you call that, LOL.  The thing that would be at the top of your sock!!  The other end has the hand sewn part where the foot used to begin.

The socks are stretchy.  That combined with the change in width led to a little bit of a ruffly seam inside, but you don't notice it at all when they're on.

We usually use around 7-10 diapers in a day, so after his first change of the day (I usually don't get him dressed first thing) I gathered up all the diapers I thought might match.

Hmm, the brown & blue might not match that well.  Oh well!

At first I tried the wider, hand-sewn end at the top, and the original, tighter end at the bottom.

Yes, baby holding remote=quiet baby=Mommy can take a picture, LOL!

They eventually slid down.

And when it got over his foot, he yanked that puppy off!

Once I turned them around (tighter end at top), they were just fine!

I think they pink pair she has are adorable.  I was tempted to buy them for my 5-year old to wear with skirts, but I don't know if she would wear them!

Goodmamas @ Kelly's Closet

Kelly's closet will be getting some exclusive Goodmama prints in fitteds and all in ones.

I haven't totally figured out fitteds yet. They do not have a waterproof layer, thus require a cover to be waterproof, but are more breathable. My understanding is that people will use a waterproof PUL, fleece or wool cover over the fitted, use a "soaker" over top, or just use nothing over top and change very often.

Goodmama is a much coveted brand, and I'd love to try a fitted, but they are a bit rich for my blood. I see the main advantage being that your baby's skin can breathe, but I imagine you'd have to skip pants at home & wear a cover or another type of diaper when going out. I love babylegs but I could see that getting expensive too, since I would be inclined to buy a pair to match every diaper!

The dangerous thing about Goodmama is that they have ADORABLE collections where you can buy shirts, hats etc. to match your diapers!

Goodmama also sells on hyenacart and has had several "free for shipping" drawings this weekend, but I haven't won any darn it!!

There are worse addictions, right? Right?

Ok, maybe I have an addictive personailty.  I obsess over things and totally immerse myself in things I am interested in, turning everything into a project.  But holy crap are cloth diapers ever addictive!!

Cute prints, soft fabrics...I joined a group for sewing diapers, but I'm afraid to start, lest I get addicted to that too!

People make "baby legs" which are essentially leg warmers for babies.  At first I thought it was strange, but now I totally get it.  They put their baby in just a diaper & tshirt for comfort, easy diaper changes & to see that cute cloth booty.  But legs can get cold, knees need padding and *squee* you can coordinate the legs to the diaper!!

Must resist urge to coordinate clothing with diapers.
